About Course

This course is designed to give students a comprehensive study of the course offered in Ontario high school curriculum. The course emphasizes on common areas where students tend to struggle understanding, and includes many questions frequently asked in the classes.

Polynomial & Rational Functions

Polynomial Functions, Even and Odd Functions, Graphs of Polynomial Functions, Piece-wise Functions, Sketching Cubic and Quartic Functions, Dividing Polynomials, Remainder and Factor Theorems, Factoring a Polynomial, Solving Polynomial Inequalities, reciprocal Functions, Rational Functions, Determining Horizontal Asymptotes, and solving Inequalities in Rational Functions.

Exponential & Logarithmic Functions

Exponent Laws, Solving Exponential Equations, Graphing Exponential Functions, Applications of Exponential Functions, Logarithm Laws, Exponential-Logarithmic Form, Graphing Logarithmic Functions, The Natural Logarithm, and Applications of Logarithms.

Trigonometric Functions

Radians, Angular Velocity, Graphing sin x and cos x, Modeling with Trig Functions, Graphing tan x, csc x, sec x, and cot x, Evaluating Trig Expressions with Radians, Compound and Double Angle identities, and Trig Identities.

Characteristics of Functions

Rate of Change, and Combinations of Functions.

Practices, Reviews and Practice Tests and a mock Exam are also included in this course.

Class A: 60 min with 1 teacher per 4 student group lesson
