About Course

ESL-The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is offered to students by experienced instructors to improve their English language skills. Students can enroll in part time or full time ESL programs. 13 levels are offered to student, which will ensure students to be placed into an appropriate level. Upon arrival, students shall take an assessment test that is used to place students in their appropriate English class. Classes are kept to a maximum of 10 students ensuring students receive one-on-aattention from the teacher. ESL program is offered throughout the entire year with a continuous intake of students.

ESL1-A:

Proficiency in pronunciation, letters and basic vocabulary. Identify vocabulary such as, body parts, animals, fruits, stationery, and counting from 1-10. Students will be able to communicate with the teacher with the help of graphics, facial expressions and gestures.

Adaptation year: Grade 1 to Grade 2 Peer IELTS level: 2.0-3.0

ESL1-B:

Identify and master more basic vocabulary such as numbers, time, month, season, week, body parts, animals, fruits and stationery. Develop a strong interest and self-confidence in English. Understand the classroom language and classroom requirements of foreign teachers.

Adaptation year: Grade 1 to Grade 2 Peer IELTS level: 2.0-3.0

ESL1-C:

Quickly absorb the gradually expanding vocabularies and phrases of various scenes. Understand the classroom language and classroom requirements of foreign teachers. Be able to gradually communicate with foreign teachers, dare to ask questions, and begin to master singular and plural numbers and tenses.

Adaptation year: Grade 3 to Grade 4 Peer IELTS level: 3.0-4.0
