About Course

ESL-The English as a Second Language (ESL) program is offered to students by experienced instructors to improve their English language skills. Students can enroll in part time or full time ESL programs. 13 levels are offered to student, which will ensure students to be placed into an appropriate level. Upon arrival, students shall take an assessment test that is used to place students in their appropriate English class. Classes are kept to a maximum of 10 students ensuring students receive one-on-aattention from the teacher. ESL program is offered throughout the entire year with a continuous intake of students.

ESL2-A:

Understand the familiar simple language materials in daily life and all the classroom language of the teacher. Identify basic information about day to day activities or surrounding affairs. Able to introduce, state, express attitudes with foreign teachers in basic and short words, sometimes by means of non-verbal means such as repetition or gestures and expressions

Adaptation year: Grade 3 to Grade 4 Peer IELTS level: 3.0-4.0

ESL2-B:

Understand simple language materials commonly used in daily life, obtain basic factual information, and grasp the main content. Can communicate with foreign teachers in simple language on familiar topics or things around them, state information, narrate time, describe situations, and express basic communication intentions.

Adaptation year: Grade 5 to Grade 6 Peer IELTS level: 4.0-4.5

ESL2-C:

Can understand simple language materials in daily life learning, obtain specific or key information, and grasp the main points. Can use simple language to communicate with teachers and foreign students of the same age in daily life and classroom learning situations, describe oneself, express accurately, coherently and smoothly, and use correct singular and plural numbers and tenses.

Adaptation year: Grade 5 to Grade 6 Peer IELTS level: 4.0-4.5
