EAP-Advanced A:
Reading Details: English classic reading introduce students to major works of classic literature. Students complete a comprehensive series of vocabulary and comprehension exercises along with readings. Through discussion topics and comprehension exercises, they can analyze and fully comprehend the readings. Students will build critical thinking and academic essay writing skills.
Instruction Hours 16 Equivalent to IELTS level 5.5-6.0
EAP-Advanced B:
Reading Details: Students read some academic articles of intermediate level, such as texts from National Geography. Some articles from IELTS reading test are also included. Students will fully comprehend the readings in a short time, identify details as well as main topic, and draw conclusions based on the readings.
Writing Details: Students’ academic essay writing skills are enhanced. Some IELTS writing topics are included as writing exercises. Students can use formal and academic language for writing tasks, and the flow of ideas is clear
Instruction Hours 16 Equivalent to IELTS level 5.5-6.0
EAP-Advanced C:
Reading Details: Students read some abstract academic articles of high level. Topics such as technology and humanities are covered. Articles from IELTS reading test are included to practice students’ reading skills. Students can infer the meaning of new words, and form their own ideas based on the comprehension of the whole article.
Writing Details: IELTS writing topics are included as writing exercises. Students can produce very clear argumentation in support of the academic essays in a short time, and there are no logical or grammatical errors which interfere with understanding.
