About Course

EAP- Intermediate A:

Reading Details: Students read some short English fictions, stories, newspaper and magazine articles. They will identify the characters, setting and events of the reading text, and understand plot in the story. Writing Details Classes focus on paragraph and book reporting. Students will comprehend the basic use of some clauses and develop a coherent paragraph based on the topic sentence. 

Instruction Hours 16 Equivalent to IELTS level 4.0-4.5


EAP- Intermediate B:

Reading Details: Students read some historical articles, understanding sequence of events and identifying cause and effect.

Details Essay Writing: Students are introduced to the essay writing process, and complete a variety of tasks in three genres: narrative, expository, and descriptive writing. Grammar worksheets accompany writing tasks to practice students’ ability to use different words and clauses, such as modal

EAP- Intermediate C:

Reading Details: Students read realistic articles. They can identify the main topic and key details supporting it, learn to compare and contrast the information conveyed by the reading text, and use some clues to infer the information not given by the author. Classes are designed to provide clarity on essay structure. Students cover a variety of essay formats, including the basic five-paragraph, informative, persuasive, compare & contrast, and cause & effect.
