French – Beginner
About Course
Course Content –
The students will read 20+ French books with 36 lectures for vocabulary build-up. In each lecture, the students shall experience 10-20 vocabulary exercises. Along with quizzes, tests, and exams on a week-by-week basis.
The course starts with the basic pronunciation of the French alphabet, grammar, and time tenses of the language. After understanding the basics of the language, the course will focus on reading and writing.
Be a Canadian, Become Bilingual –
French is the mother tongue of approximately 7.2 million Canadians.By the 1969 Official Languages Act, both English and French are recognized as official languages in Canada and granted equal status by the Canadian government. It is becoming more and more important for today’s Canadian to understand and/or be able to speak French, as it can provide more opportunities for those who can communicate in both languages. In Canada, two kinds of French education systems are offered to young children. There is French Immersion, for those take French learning since kindergartens. And there is Core French, for those study French as an core course in later stages of their education.

Our French Course –
- By referencing to the current French curriculum, our instructors would help our students to better understand the contents, answer the questions they might encounter in the class. The instructor would also seek out the weakness and strength of the students.
- The course starts with basic pronunciation of the French alphabets, then working onto the grammars and time tense of the language. After understanding the basics of the language, the course will focus on the reading and writing.
- The course does not only go around the understanding of the language, but the knowledge and culture of the French civilization. Students will be exposed to the very uniqueness of the culture which shall aid them to better understand the language in return.
- The course aims at a better understanding of the language. Students who finish the course are able to speak the language fluently and can better communicate with those who speak French as the first language.
