Public Speaking/DECA Club – Pre-intermediate Gr. 7-9

About Course
Enrollment is open for 2026!
The Public Speaking + Introductory Debate course helps students in Grades 7–9 develop confidence, clarity, and critical thinking through structured speech training and collaborative debate practice. Students learn how to organize ideas, speak persuasively, and defend arguments using logic and evidence. Through weekly practice speeches and mini-debates, students strengthen vocal delivery, communication skills, and the ability to think on their feet. These skills directly support success in presentations, leadership opportunities, and DECA competitions, where clear communication and confident responses are essential.
