For students in JK-Grade 6

Course Content –

1. Designed to improve vocabulary, frequency of reading books and comprehension skills

2. Students will read 48-96 books and write 24-48 book reports.

3. The students will need to pass a comprehension test and study 40 vocabulary lessons and 48 reading lessons

Class A: 60 min for 1 teacher per 4 student group lesson

Class B: 90 min for 1 teacher per 6-student group lesson

Reading Wise –

For students who:

• rarely choose to read and cannot apply skills
• cannot comprehend well and remain as grade level
• have limited vocabulary

We guarantee they can:

• read 48-96 books and write 24-48 book reports
• pass the comprehension test
• study 40 vocabulary lessons (2 school years / 2,000 words)
• study 48 Reading Skills lessons
• improve reading level at least 1 school grade above

Easy Chapter Books

For students who:

• hate to read chapter books and reluctant readers
• cannot comprehend well or  concentrate in reading

We guarantee they can:

• read the following: 32 books / 24 chapter books / 8 paraphrased classics
• study 2 chapter each lesson and pass comprehension test

Comprehensive Reading

For students who:

• read recklessly and need to discuss about books
• cannot comprehend well
• try to read above grade level and need to apply words

We guarantee they can:

• engage in active discussion about 24-48 books
• improve critical thinking skills
• apply words, strategies
