Discount and Refund Policy Overview

Promotion Periods:

  • Autumn Promotion: August 20 – September 5
  • Spring Promotion: January 10 – February 5
  • Summer Promotion: June 5 – June 30

Enrollment Discounts (Only one discount can be applied; however, a referral bonus of $10-$50 CAD is available):

  1. Sibling Discount: 5% off for one of the children.
  2. New Student Discount:
    • $25 off, or
    • A free trial class worth $25.
  3. Immediate Discounts (available during special periods or with one-time payments only):
    • $20 off for total family price of $500 or more.
    • $50 off for total family price of $1,000 or more.
    • $75 off for total family price of $1,500 or more.
    • $100 off for total family price of $2,000 or more.
    • $120 off for total family price of $2,400 or more (up to $150 off for the top-line price).

Payment Methods:

  1. Monthly Installments: Available (contact customer service for details and fill out a form).
  2. Seasonal/Annual Installments: Available for Spring, Summer, and Autumn, or on an annual basis.
  3. Online Payments:
    • Acceptable: E-transfer, WeChat Pay, Cash.
    • Credit Card Payments: Not accepted directly online. A 13%  fee will apply to any credit card payments made through the center.

Student Absence/Course Cancellation Policy:

  1. Group Classes & Camps: No make-up classes available.
  2. Missed Classes: Students will receive homework, video recordings, etc. for any missed classes.
  3. Tutoring: Cancellations must be made 24 hours in advance. All cancellations and make-up classes must be arranged through the service center (not directly with the tutor).
  4. Weather-Related Cancellations: The center follows weather-related notices from Westdale High School and McMaster University. Updates are also available on the center’s website and through Assistant announcements.
  5. Unforeseen Circumstances: Make-up classes will be arranged for students affected by unforeseen circumstances.
  6. Teacher Services: All teachers have signed contracts with Summit Life Learning. Teachers cannot provide services outside the center’s knowledge. Violations will be pursued.

Refund Policy:

  1. Course with Insufficient Enrollment: Refund, cash vouchers, or course change will be offered if a course does not have enough students.
  2. Refund Requests: Can be made within the first week of the course starting. A $60 handling fee and an equivalent fee for completed lessons will be deducted.
    • Material Costs: Non-refundable.

Refund policy:
1)Enrolled courses with an insufficient number of students will be either refunded, given cash vouchers, or changed to other courses.
2) Refund requests can be accepted within the first week after the course starts. A handling fee of $60 and an equal amount of finished-lesson fee will be deducted from the total amount.material costs can not be refund.
